Eligible Refund Reasons
We consider the following reasons for a refund:
• Illness or Injury: Includes accidental injury or illness to Yourself or a member of Your Immediate Household.
○ Exclusions: Telephone/online consultations; conditions where a Doctor did not physically examine the patient before the event; or unpredictable conditions for events more than two months away.
○ Evidence: A note from a registered Doctor confirming the diagnosis, date of occurrence, and how it prevents attendance.
• Pre-existing Medical Condition: A condition You had at the time of Booking that would not normally prevent attendance but has since changed.
○ Evidence: Doctor's certificate confirming the change in the condition and the resulting inability to Attend.
• Pregnancy Complication: An unforeseen complication occurring after the Booking date.
○ Exclusions: Normal pregnancy.
• Death: The death of Yourself, an Immediate Family Member, or a member of the Group within 35 days of the Booked Event.
○ Evidence: Death certificate and proof of relationship.
• Public Transport Failure: Unexpected disruption of bus, train, tram, or ferry networks.
○ Exclusions: Financial failure of a provider; heavy traffic or road closures.
• Flight Disruption: Cancellation or significant delay of flights unknown to You at the time of Booking.
○ Exclusions: If the flight itself is the Booked Event (contact ANZ Tickets Customer Service); failure to allow sufficient connection time.
• Transport Breakdown: Mechanical breakdown, accident, fire, or theft of a private vehicle or coach within 24 hours of the event.
○ Evidence: Breakdown recovery note or a Police/traffic authority report.
• Severe Weather: Weather resulting in a government-issued warning against travel.
• Home Emergency: Burglary, fire, flood, or malicious damage to Your primary residence within 48 hours of the event.
• Theft of Documents: Theft of documents necessary for the event that cannot be replaced in time.
○ Exclusions: Lost documents.
• Workplace Redundancy: Unexpected compulsory redundancy after at least 2 years of full-time employment.
• Relocated for Work: A mandatory move imposed by an employer (minimum 3-month duration) making travel to the event unreasonable.
• Jury Service / Court Summons: A summons to appear as a juror or witness of which You were unaware at the time of Booking.
• Armed Forces & Emergency Services Recall: An official recall to work or overseas posting for the date of the Booked Event.
• Changes to Examination Dates: An unforeseen change to a pre-registered exam date by an educational body.

General Conditions of Refund
• Foreseeability: The reason for the refund must not have been foreseeable at the time the Booking was made.
• Change of Mind: Refunds are not provided for Bookings made in error or if the event is no longer wanted.
• Provider Cancellation: If the Booked Event is cancelled or postponed by the Provider, please contact ANZ Tickets Customer Service directly.
• Travel Arrangements: You are responsible for making appropriate travel arrangements and allowing sufficient time to Attend.
• Evidence: All supporting documentation must be provided at Your own expense. We reserve the right to request additional evidence to verify the claim.
• Refund Limit: The maximum refund value per transaction is $15,000 (USD) or the local currency equivalent.

Exclusions
We do not provide refunds for non-attendance associated with:
• Communicable diseases or related health emergencies.
• Natural disasters (wildfires, earthquakes, tsunamis), war, terrorism, civil commotion, or industrial action.
• Personal appointments such as visa applications, naturalization, or fertility treatments.
• Any Booking originating from sanctioned territories (e.g., Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Sudan, Syria).
• Situations where another Paying Party is legally liable to compensate You.

Definitions
• "We/Us/Our/ANZ Tickets": The booking agent or authorized third party administering the refund.
• "You/Your/Yourself": The person who made the Booking.
• "Attend": To participate in or be present at the Booked Event.
• "Booking" / "Booked Event": The service, ticket, or event transacted with ANZ Tickets.
• "Doctor": A registered and licensed medical practitioner (cannot be You or a family member).
• "Immediate Family Member": Spouse, partner, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, or stepfamily.
• "Immediate Household": Persons living in the same family unit with a mutual duty of support.
• "Paying Party": Any organization with a legal liability to pay compensation for the service failure.
